The Retail Web Technology (RWT) organization leads the development and maintenance of Schwab's premier digital platform for retail clients - individual investors just like you.

Our team is seeking a talented Software Engineer IV, who embraces being technical leader and has a real passion for using state of the art web technologies to build compelling interactive web applications. As our Software Developer IV, you will need to be a self-starter who partners well with others. This role is all about getting the job done, so you have a can/will do mentality about all tasks associated with getting phenomenal code out the door. You prioritize mentoring your teammates and you ask for help when needed. What you have

• An exacting attention to detail and the talent and enthusiasm for producing highly usable and scalable web software solutions using advanced development technologies
• Proven technical and business communication skills at various organizational levels
• Confidence solving problems in a dynamic customer-focused team environment that uses the newest technologies and techniques
• A commitment to regularly improving your technical and professional skills, learning emerging technologies and growing as valued team member
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 6+ years of full-stack web development experience, with an emphasis on front-end development
• Skill with C#/.NET Core development
• Confidence using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with Angular, TypeScript, and client side MV frameworks
• Responsive Design and Single Page Applications (SPA) expertise
• Familiarity with unit testing patterns (TDD/BDD) and methodologies
• Familiarity with WebdriverIO automation test framework (or comparable technology)
• Application performance evaluation and tuning skills
• Web Accessibility experience
• Proficiency in creating and consuming RESTful services
• Knowledge of API automation test tools such as Postman
• Knowledge of authorization frameworks (e.g., OAuth 2, SAML, JWT)
• Understanding of Agile software development principles, including experience participating in a Scrum-based delivery team
