Qualifications.and.nbsp;Education-Training (both required and desired):.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;High School diploma required.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;Associates Degree in management, technical, or scientific discipline desired.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;Experience:.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;5+ years of professional experience in the required task area.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;Must have a minimum of 5 years of inspection experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;Experience-training in GD.and.amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).and.nbsp;Experience with creating processes to meet the requirements of ISO9001, AS9100, or similar internationally recognized QMS.and.nbsp;Technical strengths in machining, operations, and inspection methods required.and.nbsp;Must be able to use, inspect and evaluate standard measuring inspection tools-equipment.and.nbsp;Must be able to read and understand blueprints, technical specifications and operating procedures.and.nbsp;Proficient in Microsoft applications.and.nbsp;Security:.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;Must be a US citizen.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required.and.nbsp;.and.nbsp;Expertise and Functions.and.nbsp;Review shop travelers for accuracy and completeness.and.nbsp;Assist-Perform full ISO9001 quality system and planning activities.and.nbsp;Create end item data packets consisting of Certificates of Conformance, Indented Parts List and Configuration summary for internal and external inspections.and.nbsp;Conduct Receiving inspection-verification of product and relating certifications.and.nbsp;Ensure all required end item documentation is included and complete.and.nbsp;Complete customer source inspections for detail parts and assemblies.and.nbsp;Interface with program engineering and customers on Material Review Board issues.and.nbsp;Verify and control non-conforming product and the Material Review Bonding (MRB) process.and.nbsp;Number - bubble drawings to create AS9102 inspection reports.and.nbsp;Review certification documents and records for creation of a Certificate of Conformance.and.nbsp;Use CMM and other inspection tools and methods to inspect tooling, first article and production parts.and.nbsp;Provide Quality-Inspection verification support to Manufacturing and Engineering personnel.and.nbsp;Verify and control tool calibration cycles and the supporting documentation.and.nbsp;Other duties as assignedKIHOMAC is proud to be an equal opportunity employerand.nbsp; All qualified applicants receive equal consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or protected veteran status, and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability.
