Job Description

Xactware is looking to add a Software Developer to one of their Engineering teams in Lehi, UT. You will be working on Xactware’s iOS team. The team is looking for a passionate iOS Developer with an appreciation for good code design, architecture, and quality.

• Daily Agile Scrum meetings where you get to say what you have been working on and what you will work on.
• You get to choose the task you want to work on next.
• Sometimes you will pair programs. You will always collaborate with your team.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Work with QA to resolve bugs.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience or similar ability in software development
• Enjoys a fast-paced, agile, challenging, and team-oriented work environment
• Ability to create simple and well-designed solutions to complex software problems
• Ability to work both as a member of a team and independently based on the project requirements
• Understanding and exposure to API's and consuming RESTful services
• Ability to effectively and professionally interact with customers, clients, and other Xactware employees
• Development skills and fluency in: Swift, Objective-C, SQL, XML, JSON, MVC
• Working knowledge of software development tools and agile processes
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Dedication to excellence and a willingness to work hard
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be coachable and collaborative
• Knowledge of testing methodologies (e.g. smoke, regressions, component, integrations, etc.)
• Must be able to clearly define and solve problems
• Familiarity with continuous integration concepts and processes
• Ability to work in an office environment with reasonable accommodation
