Zions is seeking a Project Manager

Zions Bancorporation is currently seeking an experienced

Project Manager with strong experience in the Technology domain to support our Technology portfolio. We are looking for an individual that is customer focused, flexible, adapts quickly to change, understands technology, and is constantly looking for ways of doing things better.

This

Project Manager will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level project initiatives. As a natural born leader, you will have a strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion. The Project Manager will be disciplined, highly organized and results-oriented.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and other assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, delivery of business outcomes and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
  • Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
  • Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members
  • Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
  • Understanding of Agile Methodologies & Scaling Framework to begin facilitating scope of projects, scheduled timeline, cost, quality control, resource allocation, and change processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years in an advanced management role, including tracking and planning projects
  • 4+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • High level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and / or Senior Leadership
  • Working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience in program/project management processes, agile methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Scrum, Kanban) and tools, resource and change management practices, techniques or other directly related experience
  • Requires a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) highly desired or demonstrated equivalent experience and skill
  • SAFe Certifications are a plus


Pay Range: $90,000-$120,000

Location: This opportunity can be located in our brand new Zions Technology Center or 100% remote within the United States

(We have a hybrid scheduled of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home if you are within the Salt Lake City area)
