Accountant
Contract to Hire
Work Remote for the foreseeable future
Target Pay $32-$35/hr while on contract
Target salary$60k once converted to direct hire

Job Summary:
This role is to help out the accounting manager that has been with this financial technology company for over 19 years, with a staff of 5 (most of which are administrative or support roles). This position would be to offload a portion of work that the manager is doing including monthly finance reconciliation. Company is about 100 employees. Will also cover other job duties of other team members when they take time off.

Personality and can-do attitude are very important to them. This is a very stable software company and mostly 40 hour / week role.

Required:

• Solid general accounting principles experience with at least:
  • AR, AP, GL
  • Invoicing
  • Creating monthly reports from spreadsheets and software business tools
  • Month End Financial Reconciliations
• Accounting 4 year degree

Soft Skills:

• Small team, must be someone that is engaging and approachable with other team members
• Easy going
• Works well with other employees and pleasant for them working with you
