Developmental optometrist office in Provo seeking an outstanding, person who is self-motivated and is committed to providing exceptional customer service to our patients. Must be genuinely positive and enthusiastic. We will train the necessary skills if you already have the personality.
Position is for a part-time Medical Billing and Coding approx 20 hours per week. Our purpose is helping people, and we happen to do it through vision. Duties include:
-communicating with patients about billing/insurances
-reviewing patients medical records for correct diagnoses and procedures performed
-making phone calls
-collecting money from insurances, and patients
- contacting insurance companies to verify benefits and obtain preauthorization's
- coordinating with auto insurances and attorney's regarding injury claims
- sending patient reports to other offices
