We are looking for a hard-working and detail-oriented team player to help in our finance department as a full-time accounts payable specialist. Excel skills and Quickbooks knowledge is definitely a plus, but not absolutely required. It is much more important that this person is able to learn quickly and has a strong desire for perfection. This person must be extremely detail conscious and should have a knack for putting things where they belong.
Responsibilities include:
Receiving and distributing mail daily
Cutting checks using Quickbooks
Making sure bills are paid on time
Managing accounts with various vendors/landlords/etc.
Managing collection efforts
Corresponding with 39 branch managers
Managing and securing housing for 2500+ sales reps during the summer
Allocating credit card and bank transactions
Reviewing transactions for fraud detection and implementing necessary controls
Working with the Financial Controller to compile monthly financial statements
