Experienced Maintenance Worker
Utah Recreation Company is seeking exceptional individuals and couples to fill our Seasonal Heavy Maintenance openings! This is an exciting opportunity to work in the hospitality field while spending time outdoors and maintaining National Forest campgrounds.

WHAT THIS POSITION LOOKS LIKE:
Classification: Seasonal/Full-Time Position (typically May through October, depending on sites and weather conditions).
Location: Your workplace will be all throughout our hundreds of campgrounds in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.
Wage: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Anticipated Monday through Friday, 40 hours. Weekends may be required.
ABOUT YOU:
Knowledge of operating and maintaining heavy equipment
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and welding
3+ years in related position
Managerial experience preferred
Strong decision-making and customer service skills
Excellent communications skills and ability to give direction and problem-solve
Must possess a valid driver license with a clean 3-year history and no DUI convictions in the past 10 years
Able to work in varying weather conditions
Reliable transportation
Minimum of high school education
JOB DUTIES:
General maintenance and repairs across the seven Forest Service Ranger Districts throughout the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest: piping, carpentry, electrical, etc.
Water system start up, maintenance, and monthly testing
Overseeing maintenance on all campgrounds in the seven districts
Participation in National Forest Service inspections and completing tasks associated with inspections
Hazard tree and limb removal
