Under minimum supervision performs skilled tasks in accordance with standard trade practices in the installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of systems, equipment, fixtures, machine set-up, troubleshooting. repairs and preventative maintenance service, in accordance with FDC safety and quality policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesProvides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine servicePerforms mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machinesResponsible for maintaining and performing repairs to the facility.Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (ie: GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable.Interacts and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally while maintaining company code of ethics.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to determine ?root cause? of problem and determine corrective action.Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic computer skills.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
