Xplore USA is seeking a Local Coordinator to oversee and represent Xplore with our international student program in the Park City School area.
The responsibilities of the Coordinator include recruiting, screening and orienting the host families. During the school year the coordinator will provide ongoing support to the student and host family. Prior experience with teens and/or other cultures such as study abroad experience is a plus!
Our local representatives work with international high school students who come to the USA to experience life with a host family, improve their English skills, and study at their chosen high school for an academic year. This is a part-time position where you can set your own hours. Most of our representatives work full-time jobs and do this on the side for fun and feel the rewards of assisting students and families bond. However, this is also an excellent fit for a stay-at-home parent, who is perhaps polishing their resume to transition back into the workforce!
This position is ideal for people looking for a rewarding experience making a cultural difference in your community.
