This is a brand new, non-supervisory lead position at Great Salt Lake State Park. The successful candidate will work 30-40 hour weeks for a seasonal term of 6-8 months, while gaining valuable experience within the realm of parks and recreation. Duties will consist of...

- Staffing the visitor center information desk and gift shop sales counter.

- Assisting with gift shop inventory management.

- Preparing and delivering bi-weekly bank deposits.

- Staffing the park entrance station.

- Providing interpretive programs to the public (at least one program per month).

- Assisting with the park's social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).

- May be asked to assist with search and rescue activities on or near the lake.

A valid driver's license is required.

A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

Preference may be given to those who have previous tourism, education, or parks-related experience.
