Comtech LLC is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to serve our client, L3Harris! This role is for those who want to be a part of developing the next generation of innovative networking technologies for mobile ad-hoc wireless communications systems and want to work within a team environment to help architect, design, develop, and debug embedded software security products. It includes the application of information assurance principles and the use of state-of-the-art technologies in helping obtain security certifications and accreditations.
Key Requirements:
Active secret clearance (non-negotiable)
Knowledge and experience using C and understanding modern object-oriented design and architecture.
Knowledge and experience developing for embedded real-time operating systems (VxWorks, MQX, FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS, embedded Linux).
Experience developing device drivers.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in team environment.
Good communication skills to help with all aspects of program’s execution, including bid and proposal, development, testing, deployment, and engineering support.
Presentation skills and ability to interact with internal/external vendors and customers in a professional manner.
Preferred knowledge and experience in multiple of the following:
Security certification (CISSP, CEH)
HAIPE devices, TEMPEST design technologies, QUADRANT design techniques, key management experience, internet security protocols, encryption protocols, and security ICs (TPM, trust and store, root of trust).
Developing security architectures or secure network design.
Developing to secure coding guidelines/standards.
Open-source Linux development.
Source control repositories (Git or Clearcase).
Test frameworks (Google Test/Google Mock).
Agile development methodology and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence).
Machine learning, data analysis, and advanced algorithm design and development.
DevOps technologies (virtualization, Docker, scripting, and automation).
A very strong background in programming languages, compilers, and application execution.
Low-level drivers and hardware interfaces (ISO7816, USB, I2C, SPI, etc.)
TCP/IP/UDP, RS-485, RS-232
Scripting languages - Python, Bash, Perl
Applicants must currently have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
