Full-Stack Lead Consultant, Consulting Services

Apex is seeking a seasoned Lead Consultant with strong consultative skills to act as a software development leader within Apex Systems Consulting Services. This role will lead hybrid teams of internal and external product managers, analysts, and full stack engineers to design, develop, and deliver digital solutions for Apex clients. This role will also provide technical subject matter expertise and will help to mentor Apex Systems' internal technical consultants in their career growth and development. This role will be responsible for client deliverables as well as internal leadership of technical consulting professionals.

The Expertise You Have:

•Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

•10+ years hands-on experience developing modern web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript technology stack and modern UI frameworks/libraries (Angular preferred, React.js or Vue.js acceptable)

•5+ years of team leadership experience managing small to medium sized teams

•Hands-on experience in the design, build, and maintenance of REST or GraphQL based APIs, using Node.js, Express.js/Nest.js (preferred) or Java, Spring Boot (acceptable)

•Proficiency with server-side/mid-tier languages, frameworks, libraries, and related technologies: Java EE, Apache Tomcat, Spring MVC/Spring Boot

•Experience integrating with REST APIs to access and retrieve data leveraging Observer pattern or RXJS.

•Experience with Test Automation and Frameworks like Jest, Protractor, Mocha, Jasmine or Cypress (preferred).

•AWS Cloud experience required and familiarity with DevOps tooling and methodology, including CI/CD, Jenkins, Containerization, and Docker/Kubernetes.
