The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
Guide the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices, principles, and theory.
Coach the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team.
Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right people/process to remove the impediment.
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame or retribution - with an emphasis of problem solving.
Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
Facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution.
Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
Serve as a liaison between the product owners and team to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
Interact with the line of business SMEs and Product Owners to facilitate developing a roadmap for the end-to-end feature set and PI planning for the target deliverables.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Build, develop, and grow any relationships vital to the success of the project.
Take ownership of day-to-day issues and escalations and bring issues to resolution.
Lead team through PI planning including quarterly onsite meetings.
Facilitate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
Coordinate activities across scrum teams.
Ensure team records are maintained in the system of record.
Leverage data to measure and monitor progress (burndown charts, etc.).
Track and communicate team progress as well as sprint or release progress to Program.
Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
Be an activist of the Scrum principles within company and participate in continuous improvement within this discipline.
Review and confirm the appropriate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals are assigned.
