A valid driver license is required for this position.ResponsibilitiesDuties of this position may include, but are not limited to the following:- May clean toilets, basins, showers, bathtubs, stoves, ovens, refrigerators, walls, windows and kitchen cabinets.- May clean floors, fixtures, walls, doors and related furnishings by using appropriate cleaning supplies.- May assist with cleaning carpets, stripping and waxing floors.- May operate and maintain industrial vacuums, carpet shampooing equipment and upholstery shampooing equipment as needed.- May assist in painting interiors and exteriors of buildings, using hand and power painting equipment.- May be assigned to work with trades persons on specific assignments.- May be assigned to assist custodians.This position works under general supervision.Minimum QualificationsThis is a seasonal, temporary, non-benefited position that can be used for positions six months or less.Seasonal work generally means work that by its very nature can only be performed during certain times of the year.A valid driver license is required for this position.PreferencesSpecial Instructions SummaryAdditional InformationThe University of Utah is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity employer and is committed to diversity in its workforce.
