Senior Project Manager, Roadway

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager in our Salt Lake City, UT office.The Impact You’ll Make (Job Responsibilities)Lead engineering design projects on large, more complex projects.Apply knowledge of engineering to design roadway improvements for streets, highways, and interstates.Clearly communicate work and ideas through drawings, documents, reports, and verbal interaction.Follow design standards to lay out proposed improvements in MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D and coordinate design with design team members.Provide feedback and input to the project manager during the development of scopes of work, fees, and schedules on new contracts and contract modifications. Coordinate with other disciplines (drainage, utilities, structures, signals, lighting, ITS, etc.) to identify and mitigate potential conflicts.Develop stakeholder exhibits.Coordinate with reviewers to verify accuracy and quality of work.Perform work within project deadlines.Provide alignment and profile development, geometrics, preparation of plans and construction estimates.Lead with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications, engineer’s estimates and calculations.Coordinate project assignments with managers and other engineers and technicians in his/her discipline group.Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.Interact with clients and stakeholders to clearly communicate elements of design and design intent.Assist the project manager with technical and financial aspects of project, as well as marketing and developing relationships with clients.
