RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports to and directly assists Chef
Assumes responsibility to ensure success of kitchen operation
Deliver high quality culinary dishes
Create authentic, custom guest experiences through efficient culinary operations.
Will oversee and monitor the prep & production
Responsible for the management of BOH team, to include: coaching, counseling, execution, quality, pars, maintenance, and organization of prepped goods.
Schedules and coordinates the work of cooks and other kitchen employees to assure that food preparations are economical and technically correct and within budgeted labor cost goals.
Provides accurate weekly reporting, and coordinates all operational tasks required to provide accurate reporting statistics.
Approves the requisition of products and other necessary food supplies
Responsible for daily procedures to meet and exceed all health code regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine experience
2 years experience working in a high-volume, scratch kitchen
Positive attitude, and passion for making people smile, and truly enjoy their experience.
Respect for quality food and beverage.
Food handlers or ServSafe
Computer skills proficient in Aloha, Excel, Word,
Ability to oversee a team of 10+ BOH staff
