We are a traditional dueling piano bar Wednesday - Saturday, and host Karaoke Sunday - Tuesday. We have expanded next door to open a restaurant, with its own seating (approximately 20 seats on the restaurant side - 130 seats on the Tavernacle side). Our goal is to serve the downtown business lunch crowd with excellent pub fare including steyk sticks, wings, burgers, salads, sandwiches, and other creative side dishes. We currently have a menu (rough draft), and are looking to collaborate with a chef who has a passion for cooking, and is seeking an opportunity to work in a brand new kitchen, creating simple dishes with quality ingredients.
Requirements:
Must be 21+
Must have at least 2 years prior experience working in a kitchen as a head chef, line cook, or sous chef
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to stand on feet for 8-10 hours
Must be able to speak English
Must have basic knife skills
Must be able to obtain food manager certification and training

Responsibilities:
Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities.
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards.
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs, as well as pick up food from restaurant supply stores.
Supervise kitchen staff's activities.
Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff.
