Private, in-home care for disabled, femaleincluding meal preparation, house cleaning, showering, and toilet transfers. Looking for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am to 4pm. Because the patient has problems with balance and falling, height and/or physical strength are important attributes. The high-end of the pay range ($18/hr) is for candidates with current resumes and work references working on weekends. (The low end [$16] is for weekdays.) The high end of the pay range is also for candidates with a CNA or comparable license, though non-licensed aides will be considered at a lower rate. Employer is the male spouse who is usually home and regularly supervises the employees. Both male and female candidates will be considered. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and his/her own vehicle. Candidate must live within 20 miles of patient's house. Preference will be given to candidates 20 years old and above, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Employees must communicate with employer about work-related issueseven when off duty, if important. Employee will have a one-week probationary period. Due to patient allergy to tobacco, cigarette-smokers will not be considered. No firearms allowed in home.
