A rapidly growing organic baby formula company is looking for a remote customer service specialist to help take customer phone calls, send customer service emails, respond to or route/escalate inquiries, communicate with customers via online chat, and other business tasks. We are hoping to find someone who will do an amazing job representing our brand on the front line with customers for many years to come.
To begin, we'd like to test several candidates to determine who is the best fit. The test should take 1-2 hours and pays $10. It's ok to start part-time if you need to finish existing projects. This role will eventually pay $12/hr. Our company is located in San Francisco so you can work from home!
If you do well on the test, we'll reach out to schedule a call and arrange additional tasks.
To be a good fit for this role, you should have:
- Perfect command of written and spoken English (grammar, syntax, and spelling).
- Fluent understanding of English idioms, text/chat etiquette, and written conversational English.
- Ability to flawlessly follow a playbook.
- Ability to determine when to respond to inquiries or escalate.
- Familiarity with customer service tools like Olark, Freshdesk, Google Voice, etc. is a plus.
- Strong organization skills. Ability to be trustworthy, efficient, and confidential.
- Experience with infants as a caregiver is a strong plus. The ability to empathize and effectively communicate with new parents is critical in this role.
- A nursing degree or related degree that is relevant for caregiving and/or nutrition is a strong plus.
Hours:
To start, we're looking for someone who can work US PST business hours, Monday - Saturday. These hours will likely change as the team grows.
