Salary Target: $120K - $140K

Job Description:
Our client is going through a Large Enterprise Data 'transformation' as they move their legacy (TSQL, Kimball Methodology, SSIS, ETL) data warehouse environment to the cloud (Azure). They are looking for a Sr. SQL DBA Administrator to play a key role in the design and implementation of their next generation data platforms. You will be working closely with Data Engineers and Database Administrators so having an interest in a highly collaborative environment is required! You must also be highly interested in learning modern cloud data platform technologies.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of SQL Server Database Administration and data engineering
• Operations for data warehouse and applications expertise
• Expertise in SQL Server performance tuning, disaster recovery, security, overall database health
• Experienced in influencing data platform direction and new solutions
• Experienced in designing and implementing security and compliance solutions for data governance
• Familiarity with Kimball Methodology; specifically transitioning into and out of it

BonSoft Skills:

• Experience with Azure or AWS data platforms
• Experience with Azure SQL Managed instances, Data Lake, Synapse, and Databricks
• Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services and SQL Server Reporting Services
