Acara Solutions is actively seeking 30 Field Service Technicians for a contract 100% traveling opportunity based out of West Jordan, UT. (You do not need to be local since you will be traveling)
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour FIRM, plus travel expenses
Hours: Some overtime required.
Duration - 9 months minimum
PLEASE NOTE: This role will be 100% travel. Candidates must be able to travel 6-8 weeks at a time.
Additional Information: Valid Driver's License is required for this role.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Perform complex installation, overhaul, and/or repair equipment at customer facilities across the United States. Performs complex maintenance using tools, test equipment, etc., and completes document of all installations, inspections, maintenance and repair work, and failures. Performs complex trial runs, investigative tests, repairs and overhauls
Performs product and service training to customer personnel; performs service calls and interfaces with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution. Performs assessment of complex product/equipment performance based on field support data and recommends modifications or improvements.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
⢠Installation and repair at customer facilities across the U.S. Performs complex equipment installation, Software upgrades, Network configuration, trial runs, investigative tests, repairs and overhauls.
⢠Performs complex product and service training to customers.
⢠Performs complex maintenance using tools, test equipment, etc., and completes document of all installations, inspections, maintenance and repair work, and failures.
⢠Performs complex service or systems calls and interfaces with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
⢠Performs assessment of complex product/equipment performance based on field support data and recommends modifications or improvements.
⢠Evaluates each assigned project for compliance with all national, state, and city codes.
⢠Troubleshoots installation issues as requested by Siemens Management and Engineering.
⢠Effectively train field personnel to continually improve the installation standard of quality by documenting proven procedures.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years experience in installing complex Electrical and Electronics equipment
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Technical field
Experience with Postal Transport Equipment or Conveyor Belt Sysetms
Good customer relations skills
A valid driver's license and good driving record
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and must be capable of pushing and pulling modules on heavy casters with assistance
Must be proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment
Must be capable bending, crawling and work in tight spaces
Upon offer, candidate will be require to satisfactorily complete all prescreening requirements including: Criminal background check, Education Verification, Previous Employment Verification, MVR Check, and Credit screening. Fingerprinting may also be required for Public Trust clearance.
