ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Night Auditor with Under Canvas your duties and responsibilities center around making sure that guests are taken care of from the reservation process to check-out, as well as assisting with basic accounting tasks.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Keep the front desk area presentable and engaging

 Respond to guest questions about their stay, the tent they are staying in and any needs that come up during their stay

 Greet guests, efficiently complete check-in procedures, inform guests of policies, camp layout, food options, camp activities, and

amenities

 Deliver guests and luggage to their tent and explain all aspects of their stay

 Give A+ customer service by anticipating any future needs based on their situation and circumstances

 Read & interpret accounting ledgers, make accounting adjustments, process credit cards, and using basic math

 Ensure all charges are posted correctly and guest folios are ready for check-outs in the morning

 Communicate with co-workers to create a great environment for the guests

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while projecting a positive attitude and engaging manner

 Ability to work long periods of time outdoors in possibly uncomfortable temperatures and/or weather conditions yet view the

experience as an adventure

 Outgoing, pleasant, and empathetic

 Above and beyond customer service

 Tolerate a variety of personalities, circumstances, and environments

PREFERRED SKILLS:

 Resort / campground experience

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED

 High school degree / GED

 Accounting Background
