This is a part-time as needed position. As a spotter you will remain on the ground while a senior technician operates a scissor lift inside a local retail store. Your job is to wear a safety vest (provided) and ensure the path is clear for the scissor lift while it operates. The store will be open during operation, so you will need to keep careful watch for customers and kindly guide them away from the lift and potential danger.
This position is for night-time hours (between 9PM and 9AM the next morning) and is ongoing for 9 weeks. You will be expected to be available to work when called upon. You will be notified of the times you will be needed a day in advance by the site foreman. Potential work nights are Sunday through Thursday.
Qualifications:
Must be attentive to surroundings
Must be able to work nights
Must be flexible to work when called upon (possibly up to 5 nights per week)
Must be respectful of store staff, customers, and construction personnel
