We are seeking an experienced manufacturing foreman who would be responsible for managing the day to day operations of production for a motorcycle parts manufacturing company. We are seeking someone who has experience in implementing measures to improve the efficiency of a production line. This person will be responsible for directing, leading, and coordinating the people and activities involved in manufacturing, assembly, and fabrication of the production line. The ideal candidate will be someone who can excel in a hands on leadership role. Responsibilites:

-Manage the entire production run and manufacturing team, keeping everyone engaged and moving production along

-Ensure machines are running at optimal conditions at all times

-Quality Control: responsible for monitoring the progress and quality of all parts coming off machine

-Limit downtime of machines and staff, whenever possible

-Manage the production schedule (what is being manufactured, and what is in the pipeline)

-Work closely with shipping/inventory to know what is needed for order fulfilment

-Update Production Board as needed

-Assign team daily tasks based on production level needs (assembled product, polishing, etc)

-Manage anodizing and polishing (post production)

-Establish and maintain profitable outsourcing relationships for Anodizing

-Oversee Post production Purchase Orders

-Quality check Anodized product when its received

-Ensure and monitor that post production team is meeting quality and quantity levels requests of packaged product to meet inventory/fulfillment needs

-Order and manage raw materials purchasing

-Ensure CAD changes and product updates are implemented

-Print Run Sheets and ensure they are being completed and turned in for BOM analysis

-Complete BOM analysis and report to management as needed

-Review ways to improve production run

-Manage the Assemblies Book so all assemblies are up to date at all times

-Manage Recipe books of variants so they are up to date at all times

Qualifications

-5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment with supervisory responsibilities

-Ability to provide strong leadership to associates by motivating, coaching and mentoring on work practices and company policies while promoting safety awareness at all times

-Ability to be hands, on the floor EVERYDAY doing your part and ensuring the team is doing their part to get projects done

-A Team player

-Must possess excellent interpersonal skills

-MRP/ERP systems experience a plus

-Strong computer skills

-Action oriented

-Driven by results

-Ability to build effective teams and partnerships

-Time management and organizational skills

-Provides guidance and direction in association with general management to develop and maintain tactical business plans for production

Related Experience:

-A minimum of 5 years managing the production and assembly of products and teams.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Operations, Management, Manufacturing or a related field strongly preferred.

Compensation: $20-25 p/hour. Salary dependent on experience.

Job is a full time position. Must be located in or willing to move to St George, UT
