Known for its award-winning program, Academic Innovations is seeking in-house Educational Consultants (ECs) to identify, build, and maintain relationships with educators and administrators within the secondary school and post-secondary markets around the country. An EC sells in a consultative and collaborative manner to educational leadership and stakeholders in middle schools, high schools, and colleges.
Primary Goals:
Selling the online program My10yearPlan.com® and the supporting Career Choices series textbook/workbook for course adoptions.
Promoting the campus-wide adoption of the Get Focused...Stay Focused!® program with the online 10-year plan.

Approximate Time Allocation:
Inside sales by telephone, email, and webinar to principals, district personnel, and college administrators: 80%
Conference or workshop presentations 10%
Customer service and product support to your accounts: 10%
Qualifications and Attributes:
2 years+ successful sales experience, ideally in the education market; alternatively, recent leadership role at college or district level along with sales/promotional experience
Skilled at building relationships working by phone and through webinar meetings as most customers will be in other states
Results-oriented
Self-starter and ambitious
Strategic planner
Excellent interpersonal/communication skillsâtelephone, webinar, and face-to-face
Ability to strategically manage the entire sales cycleâfrom prospecting to presentation to quoting to closing
Comfortable using software applications; experience with a CRM preferred
College degree (BA or BS) minimum
Full-time position: Monday through Friday at our Saint George, Utah office.
Occasional weekend work required for meetings or conferences.
Compensation:
Base pay plus commission (base pay of up to $30K)
Within one year, compensation should be between $60,000 and $90,000 and should continue to increase as schools adopt and sustain.
This position is for the entrepreneurial-minded, someone who is results-oriented and wants to be paid for effort and talent.
