Sol Foods Supermarket/ Hoodoos Market
We are looking for a full time, year round employee. The job consists of approximately 70% yard work and 30% maintenance.
Yard work involves mowing, weed whacking, watering, hand weed pulling (we don't use poisons), blowing parking lots and sidewalks, leaf pickup and tree pruning. Occasionally you will be required to water/irrigate at 5:30 am on Wednesdays.
Maintenance includes being able to do light electrical (changing outlets/switches, bulbs, simple wiring and small machine repair). Basic plumbing repairs (repair toilets, sink faucets, unclogging drains, changing valves, etc.). Also, you will keep rain gutters, windows and outside of building clean. You will have to be able to drive work truck, drive merchandise between stores, operate forklift, etc
You must have or do the following:
Driver's license
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Be free of any health issues that would inhibit your ability to perform job
Absolutely no smoking at work and we DO NOT provide smoke breaks
Have a neat appearance
If you are a man beards must be less than 2 inches
No facial piercings, no visible tattoos
Work in the heat
Be flexible on your work schedule (job is mostly Monday through Friday).
