Job Title: Donations and Receiving Manager
Term of employment: Full-time salary position
Reporting employees: Warehouse receiving staff
Hours: 5 days per week (42.5 - 44 Hours) 8-10 hour shifts Sunday through Saturday
Reports to: Assistant Manager
Duties:
⢠Drive ReStore trucks for donation pickups when needed.
⢠Manage the movement of product from back warehouses into the store.
⢠Continually find efficiencies in the warehouses through reorganization, layout, and implementation of policies and procedures.
⢠Continually develop, revise and maintain criteria for accepting donations with ReStore Manager.
⢠Train staff and volunteers in accepting donations in the field and at the store with volunteer trainer.
⢠Empty the truck(s) every day multiple times a day.
⢠Get all merchandise sorted and put into the âREADYâ section. This includes cleaning, measuring and pricing items so that they can be sold immediately when they hit the floor.
⢠Develop, revise and maintain dispatching, driving and warehouse safety standards then communicate, train and assist volunteers and staff in these practices.
⢠Manage organization and cleanliness in and outside the ReStore including Casella and All Metals Recycling.
⢠Open and/or close the store Sunday through Saturday and do cash drawer reconciliation.
⢠Develop a daily plan for new, short term or groups of volunteers.
⢠Complete all administrative duties by 10:00 AM.
⢠Other duties as assigned.
