We are looking for a patient, caring, dedicated individual to join our team working with a vibrant, limited verbal autistic young man at his country home in Monkton along a wooded, quiet, dead-end gravel road. One position is available: we are looking for a respite worker who can work every Saturday evening/overnight until early Sunday evening (25 hours) with additional hours on other days possible. Starting rate is $20+/hr depending on experience. Some experience in human services and/or community mental health is highly desired. Duties include light meal prep, encouraging healthy life skills and habits, engaging in fun activities, setting boundaries, and ensuring safe behaviors.
