Walker Tutoring is hiring! Join a growing local tutoring service!
Walker Tutoring offers one-on-one tutoring services to students of all ages. We tutor students in math, science, test prep, English/language arts, Spanish, and study skills. We are currently looking for experienced elementary educators to help families with remote learning and homeschooling.

Required:
-Bachelors (or perhaps Masters) degree
-Experience working with elementary aged students
-A joy in the challenge of finding many ways to explain concepts
-Extensive one-on-one education experience
-A strong desire to help all students succeed
-An ability to communicate appropriately with students, parents and school systems
-Flexible schedule, particularly on week days
-Vibrant, warm, engaging personality with a knack for connecting students
-Organized and detail oriented around record keeping and communication
-Commitment through school year ‘20-’21 (longer preferred)
Preferred:
-Certified teacher
-Comfort multiple ages
-Experience working with students with special needs
-Experience working with ELL students
-Understanding of needs of homeschooled students
-Longer commitment
