Licensed childcare center looking for a head teacher to join our team.
Qualified candidates must be energetic, enthusiastic, and flexible, with a sense of humor and love for children.
The right candidates will need:
-experience working with groups of children
-great rapport with families
-understanding of Vermont Child Care Regulations
- creativity and flexibility
- a great love for all children
- a strong work ethic
This person must be head teacher qualified:( at least one of the following)
- At least a Vermont Early Childhood Career ladder level 3
-At least an Associate degree in early education
-At least a certificate of completion from an apprenticeship program
- At least successful completion of 21 college credits in early education or school age focus
Duties will include:-
-creating a safe and nurturing environment that supports each child's developmental needs
- be flexible
- strong written and verbal communication with families
- planing and implementing curriculum
- observations and portfolios
- classroom duties ( cleaning, organizing)
