Summary: We're looking for an expert, curious, relentless, product enthusiast to join us at Faraday as Technical Product Manager. What You’ll Do: Product Managers at Faraday have a defined area of ownership: a “dev team” representing a thematic slice of our offering with distinct OKRs. You are responsible for every aspect of your product area; we organize these duties into three categories. Strategic
Solicit input and gather feedback from internal stakeholders to inform product direction
Solicit and gather feedback from clients on product satisfaction and priorities (VOC)
Monitor product analytics to ascertain real-world usage
Assess product opportunities for TAM and revenue potential
Maintain forward-looking roadmap incorporating all of the above
Identify and propose opportunities to sunset product features
Technical
Product zealotry: fierce, constructive criticism defending us from mediocrity
Participate in iteration grooming to proactively identify high leverage opportunities and provide an independent assessment of technology possibilities and challenges
Provide initial technical assessments of requested work and suggested implementation outline
Work with engineering to determine effort and complexity of requested work
Define and document product “boundaries”: supported versus unsupported functionality
Train affected staff on all product change/new features—or delegate to the appropriate SME
Operational
Solicit product priorities from internal stakeholders
Synthesize stakeholder priorities to organize roadmap into iterations, seeking an appropriate demand balance
Facilitate grooming efforts to capture estimates, implementation details, etc.
Manage and maintain a predictable, reliable iteration calendar
Structure and launch iterations in project management software
Report on iteration progress and completion
Ensure downstream stakeholders receive adequate notification and communication on upcoming releases, including training as appropriate
About the team: While Faraday is a product-led company, the Product team didn’t exist until Jan 2020 when we hired its first member. We’re now expanding this nascent group with an eye to establishing a robust product culture within Faraday. About you: Your qualities

Your qualifications
Formal or informal—but in any event considerable—experience with web products. Experience building and managing SDK/API products is a plus
Considerable experience and intimate knowledge of the software development lifecycle, client/server relationships., APIs, and other SaaS buzz words
Some technical chops: you’re not a bona fide coder, but you can grok simple SQL, make a git commit, or something else like that
College degree and/or evidence that you love to learn
Truly excellent written and verbal communication skills
