Facilities Maintenance Associate in Burlington, MAAMRI provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.The Facilities Maintenance Associate isresponsible for monitoring cleanroom and office facilities service operations to support manufacturing and quality in full compliance with GMP and other regulations.Join our talented workforce, where a commitment to excellence and a customer focused attitude is everything. · Ensure equipment documentation files are appropriate and completed· Provide specialist experience for equipment users· Analyze critical equipment performance to ensure optimum output· Assist with the preparation of the appropriate documentation to enable the unit to comply with regulatory requirements· Participate in a program of continuous training and assessment to maintain and develop professional skills· Participate in product/process development projects to ensure continuous development of new products· Evaluate breakdowns and perform repairs as required· Monitor PPM schedule to ensure equipment is available for production as required· Coordinate external contractors on site for PPM and repair· Provide specialist experience and advice to ensure trouble free manufacturingRequirements· 2 years post high school education or equivalent required· 3-5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical operations required; experience within a GLP R7D and/or GMP manufacturing environment preferred· Experience computers and demonstrated aptitude for those applications· Demonstrate the ability to implement new ideas for continuous improvement· Excellent communication skills; comfortable providing assistance and training to contractors· Must have the ability to work in a collaborative team environment and interact with other groups such as Manufacturing, Quality Control, Engineering, Validation, Quality Assurance and Metrology· Ability to read blueprints, schedule and coordinate project and work activities strongly preferred· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to multi-task and work independently· The facilities specialist will be required to carry a mobile phone to support operations and participate emergency coverage as needed· Weekend hours may be required· Valid Driver’s license requiredPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; and risk of electrical shock (always being aware of one’s environment and taking proper precautions is required). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Employee will be responsible for generating hazardous waste for treatment, storage and disposal. Affected employee will need to be familiar with the applicable training requirements included in the Resources, Conservation and Recovery Act.
