LabCorp is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the recruiting function for its Atlantic Division. The ideal candidate will have a passion for finding and placing great applicants in roles that drive business results. The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing strategic recruitment, staffing and employment programs that support the needs of the business throughout the region. The role works with senior management to understand current and future needs and is continually improving recruitment sourcing and selection with innovative approaches to recruiting challenges that result in a robust pipeline of qualified, diverse candidates to meet current and future organizational needs.Responsibilities

This role provides leadership for all aspects of talent acquisition with a focus on operational excellence including development and implementation of innovative recruiting strategies, plans and solutions that are aligned with LabCorp initiatives and deliver business results.

Partner and build strong relationships with business and HR leadership, hiring managers and recruiting team to determine business staffing needs and then develop and implement cost effective recruitment plans that minimize time-to-fill, optimize fit and retention and place top-quality, diverse candidates in open positions.

Lead, coach and mentor the Northeast Division recruiting team. Ensure that recruiters/staffing specialists are executing all essential talent acquisition processes and procedures to ensure high caliber, diverse candidate sourcing and that the most qualified candidates are being selected for open positions in a timely manner.

Develop, prepare and present metric-driven recruiting reports and presentations on key performance indicators for recruiting by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.

Develop creative approaches to the recruitment process to identify and attract qualified, diverse, active and passive candidates for open positions and future opportunities through referral generation, internet sourcing, multi-media advertising, social media, job fairs, college fairs, networking, community involvement/partnerships, third party assistance, etc

Ensure staffing requirements are met in accordance with legal/EEO guidelines and regulations. Understand the affirmative action goals for the organization and initiate programs to meet those objectives

Ensure outstanding candidate experiences throughout the interview, offer, and onboarding process

Develop LabCorp's employment-branding proposition and find ways to engage employees to be employment brand ambassadors

May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

At least 2 years leading a Talent Acquisition team and managing multiple field recruiters/staffing specialists, while sourcing and hiring for multi-unit, multi-state operations. Proven ability to motivate, mentor and develop staff.

Minimum of 5 years recruiting experience in a corporate environment, recruiting for a diverse range of jobs including operations, technical, customer service, management, and other professional and administrative positions. Agency/staffing/search firm experience in combination with corporate experience would be beneficial. Health care industry experience preferred

Excellent oral and written communicator who is self-motivated, customer-focused, proactive, organized and tech-savvy. The right candidate will have the ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment and be able to interact with and influence senior operational managers and corporate HR COE's.

Knowledge of and comfort with all aspects of recruiting including applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology tools integrated with core HR systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools, use of social media, use of staffing agencies and search firms, etc. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Strong presentation, follow-through, consulting, analytic, negotiation, interpersonal, business acumen and people leadership skills

Ability to utilize recruitment metrics and data analysis to enhance the full-cycle talent acquisition processes, procedures, and quality of diverse talent through developing and executing creative recruiting strategies from workforce planning to on-boarding for various division business functions.
