VMware's vRealize Automation (vRA) and Cloud Assembly team is looking for Software Engineers (entry level) who will contribute to the development of the next generation of VMware's hybrid cloud management on-premise and cloud-based products. We work with a broad range of state-of-the-art technologies, programming languages and open-source frameworks to build VMware's market-leading products for the cloud:http://www.vmware.com/products/vrealize-automation/https://cloud.vmware.com/cloud-assemblyThe ideal candidate must be eager to learn new technologies and work as part of a local team that is a part of a much larger global team.In this role you will:
Participate in the design and development of hybrid cloud automation features for the next major release of the vRA product
Interact with product managers to understand customer requirements and translate into features for the application
Work closely with other team members in a geographically dispersed team using Agile/Scrum methodologies
Demonstrate commitment to product quality and improving customer experience.
Desired Skills & Experience:
BS or MS in Computer Science is desired
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Positive attitude
Self-starter
Familiar with cloud services such as AWS EC2, Azure, and GCP
At least one year of programming in Java
