Receive and process specimens
Perform testing on biological specimens
Determine priority of work and batches to maintain acceptable turn-around-time; recognize unacceptable and unusual specimens and handle appropriately
Assist with customer service coverage and specimen management.
Perform and resolve pending and audits.
Maintain and clean instrumentation; perform scheduled and as needed maintenance and critical function; trouble shoot as indicated.Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must have a BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or other related science as required by CLIA.
1-3 years of experience in a Clinical Laboratory required
Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Must be able to work in a team oriented environment.
