Courtyard Burlington Harbor is looking for a self-motivated and reliable candidate to take over their full time bellman/valet position. Candidates should be capable of working closely with the Front Office staff, Management and other departments in providing guest assistance with luggage, valet, directions and any other miscellaneous tasks. The bellman/valet will be responsible for continuing to present a positive image of the Hotel to all guests and be knowledgeable of all hotel services so they can provide an exceptional experience for guests. The bellman/valet will also be responsible for maintaining the appearance of the lobby and our Market area. The market should be presented clean, tidy and well stocked at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Greet guests in a friendly manner and offer assistance with luggage
-Valet guest cars with care and confidence, safely and efficiently
-Assist the front desk in fulfilling guests requests
-Be aware of local attractions and restaurants to make recommendations and give directions
-Keep the Market stocked and tidy.
-Maintain the exceptional appearance of the lobby and front desk area
-Ensure that the arrival area well organized and easily accessible for incoming guests.
-Assist other departments as needed.
-Positive, energetic attitude is a must
Qualifications:
-Ability to work independently and part of a team
-Previous Hospitality experience preferred
-You must have a clean drivers license with 1 years minimum driving experience
-Experience driving vehicles with both Automatic and Standard transmissions
-Ability to work in a face paced, multi-tasking environment
-Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly
-Ability to stand throughout entire shift and withstand all weather elements
-Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule to include weekends, Holidays, overnights, and any shift within a 24 hour period.
