Line Cook: Pasta
We are currently seeking one line cook to help round our team in advance of the busy holiday season. Great candidates will have experience in some or all of the following areas:
Knife skills
Cleaning skills
Italian food knowledge
Coursed dinner service
Pasta making and cookery
Meat and fish fabrication
Station cooking (saute, grill, oven, garde manger)
Sous vide cooking
Most of all, we're interested in talking to people who possess a friendly, outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, a commitment to professionalism and excellent attention to detail.
Job duties include:
Station mise en place. Working from a list to ensure readiness.
Consistent, efficient, and precise cooking as orders come in.
Deep cleaning everything in the kitchen, every shift.
Communication with the chef and sous chef on ordering pars.
Development of specials in conjunction with the chefs.
Family meal cooking.
Teamwork and knowledge sharing.

This position is a full-time position requiring night and weekend availability.
Candidates who meet basic experience requirements can expect to start at $15/hr.
Candidates with no experience can expect an opportunity to learn on the job.
Pay raises are awarded based on merit and job performance.
