Excellent Opportunity for a creative & passionate culinary professional to join a new restaurant in Southern Vermont in its early stages of successful development. Locally sourced ingredients and sophisticated customer base. Experience as a Head Chef a must.

Skilled Chef Applicants will possess the following attributes.

- Extensive knowledge of managing food and labor costs - Establish and follow budgets and changes in volume based on seasonality while working efficiently with high quality fresh ingredients to meet the tastes of the sophisticated clientele.

-Ability to Secure Position by Being Part of Developing Special Events and Exceptional Buzz Around The Establishment- For example, farm to table meals, wine dinners and tastings, etc. Creatively adding to the bottom line and driving sales.

- Strong Management Skills- Ability to hire, train, schedule, council, discipline and motivate all kitchen staff to work toward the common goal of creating a profitable and rewarding work place.

-Shared Philosophy and Culinary Experience That Aligns with The Owners- Must be able to take direction from the owners in terms of food style, menu and philosophy. Main goals will be to protect the interests of the business and reputation of the establishment while being well compensated.

-Cleanliness and Hygiene top priority of Chef and all Kitchen Staff- No exceptions here. Clean healthy lifestyle required. Only experience with high quality food products and equipment. Non-smoking facility. No exceptions.

-Ability to Take Pride in and Share in Satisfaction of Accomplishments- Able to feel sense of satisfaction through being a part of a team that is able to build a business that is profitable and is a leader in the local food scene of Southern Vermont.
