Nomad Coffee -- South End Station, a café in Burlington that serves excellent coffee and creative but casual farm-to-table food, is seeking a part-time prep/line cook. The cook will support our head chef and brunch chef by completing prep tasks, learning to season to our standards, running the line at lunch-time, and doing dishes.
Kitchen experience is not required, but an enthusiasm for delicious food is a must. A passion for learning, good communication skills, and a willingness to accept and offer constructive criticism are important, too.
The work environment at Nomad is respectful, silly, and supportive. We love working with people who are looking to cultivate their skills and engage in self improvement.
This job starts at 15-20 morning and afternoon hours per week (no weekends), with room to grow as the business does.
