Stonecutter Spirits is a bustling craft distillery nestled between Lake Champlain and The Green
Mountains in Middlebury, Vermont. Our location is perfect for aging our spirits, which are pretty
damn tasty, if we do say so ourselves. People seem to agree; our Single Barrel Gin recently won a
Good Food Award as well as double gold in the San Francisco Spirits Competition. Our Heritage
Cask Whiskey has been referred to as âthe best damn whiskey Iâve ever tastedâ (by someone that
really likes whiskey) and is no slouch in the awards department either, taking home a number of
gold medals from competitions around the country.

talented cocktail slinger, or an eager home bartender looking to hone your skills? If you answered

We are looking for someone enthusiastic, dynamic, and outgoing to be the face of our brand for the
guests that visit our Tasting Room in Middlebury. You will be curating a stellar experience for every
guest that comes into our distillery. We want everyone to feel like a friend when they leave, or
maybe even a long-lost cousin.
The best candidates will have a seasoned sense of humor with a soft spot for dad jokes and bad
puns, an outgoing personality, knowledge of the spirits world, and an insatiable appetite for
learning and personal growth.
We are constantly evolving and want all of our employees to do the same. We work as a team;
everyone has a hand in decision making, and everyone takes out the trash. Because we are a team of
10 people doing the work of 30, we need someone that is a talented multi-tasker, can thrive in a
fast-paced environment, and likes to think outside the box (and barrel).
Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
ï· Operate our Middlebury tasting room (open Thursday-Sunday)
ï· Ensure every guest has a kickass time
ï· Sling delicious cocktails
ï· Keep a clean and organized work space, especially the bar
ï· Prep all necessary cocktail ingredients to support our legendary drink lineup
ï· Take part in the planning, scheduling, and execution of all tasting room programming
ï· Travel to events as necessary
ï· Maintain outdoor landscaping of tasting room (just kidding)
ï· Befriend the cocktail garden, being sure to pick ripened garnishes and water their less
seasoned counterparts regularly (not kidding)
