University of Vermont Medical Center, Vermont's academic medical center and founding member of the University of Vermont Health Network is seeking Ambulatory LPNs in outpatient Pediatrics and Primary Care clinics.
Position Summary:
The Ambulatory LPN - Primary Care is an integral part of the care team and a key contributor to delivering high quality care that is compassionate, consistent and reliable for our patients, families and the practices within a medical home. The incumbent is involved in direct patient care under the direction of a provider, provides technical nursing care to patients in varying states of health and illness and performs clinical and administrative health care support services to patients and families according to knowledge, ability, and duties assigned.
This position is eligible for a 3k bonus.
Education:
Licensed Practical Nurse, currently licensed in Vermont. CPR certification required within the first six months from hire.
Experience:
One to two years experience in relevant health care setting or training program desired. Primary Care experience preferred. Proven customer service experience required.
This position is required to participate in the rotation of assisting with coverage of the weekend clinic throughout the year.
There is a weekend day differential paid for those hours on top of the hourly rate of pay.
