Windridge Tennis and Sports Camps in Roxbury, Vermont is seeking a Camp Nurse to join our management team for the summer of 2018. June 13th August 18th, Visit our site at www.windridgecamps.com. If you have kids camp age, tuition may also be included.
Windridge has a tradition of tennis, soccer and horseback riding and so much more for over 50 years. Located in the Green Mountains of Vermont, the Windridge Tennis and Sports Camps stand unique in that we feature specialized sports programs within the framework of a traditional New England camp setting. Since 1968, children have come to Windridge from most of the fifty states and many foreign countries to share in the Windridge experience. Our campers make a commitment to hard work, good sportsmanship and wholesome fun and laughter. We offer 2 and 3-week co-ed sessions from June through August, serving ages 7-15 year-olds. Windridge will pay for VT License if needed. Position includes salary, travel stipend, room and board.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed (in the appropriate state) as a licensed practical nurse, registered nurse, nurse practitioner, or physician's assistant (will pay for a license in VT)
- Experience with children and young adults desirable
- Ability to assist in originating, updating, and/or monitoring health care, maintaining records, and implementing the health care plan
- Current CPR and first aid certifications
- The desire to work and live in a camp community
- Desire and ability to work with children outdoors
- Ability to relate to people of a variety of ages
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Good character, integrity, and adaptability
- Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience and self-control
