Half time Residential Counselor Position at private, residential mental health treatment program for young adults. Our clients are bright and engaging; typically have struggled in college. A supportive work environment. Generous paid leave is accrued on regular work hours.
This position involves regular and on-call hours including one awake overnight. The regular shifts are 2:30 pm- 10:00 Pm on Wednesdays and 10pm-8:30 am on Thursdays. There are two On-Call shifts which provide back up for regular staff as needed. We provide a stipend for each on-call shift and an hourly wage for actual hours worked. Typically, each shift requires a couple of hours of work. We have am shifts: 7 am - 7pm and pm shifts: 6 pm-6 am. Available shifts are: Friday pm 6pm- 6 am and Saturday am, 7 am-7pm. Additional substitute shifts are available for those interested.
Seeking candidates with mental health/human services experience, excellent references and a positive attitude. Must live within 20 minutes of Plainfield.
