Do you enjoy problem solving, helping people, providing exceptional service, and working with a team? If so, training to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician is the first step on a progressive career ladder at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. As a Technician, you can quickly grow to become an Advanced Technician, a Pharmacy Lead, Trainer or Supervisor. Pharmacy Technicians are detail oriented, enjoy a fast-paced environment and are committed to helping patients access the medications they need.
This full-time, hands-on training program includes both classroom and on-the-job training. Courses offered include Pharmacology, Processing and Handling of Medications and Medication Orders, Procurement, Billing, Reimbursement, Healthcare Professional Communication and Patient & Medication Safety.

Monday, August 12th, 6:00pm-8:00pm
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, Auditorium E/F
Program Overview:
Up to 16 individuals will be selected to participate in an intensive full-time 9 week training program
Students will be HIRED by D-H and paid a training wage during the educational program
At the conclusion, students will sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam
Graduates will be placed in the D-H Retail, Specialty, Inpatient or Cancer Center Pharmacies and enrolled in a 2,000 hour registered apprenticeship with the U.S.
Opportunity:
Earn while you learn - both wages and college credit
At the conclusion of the 9 week training program students will transition to apprentices and earn $17.00/hour
Apprentices will receive wage increases based on performance
