Seeking multiple shift positions for the right candidates to help care for and support me in my home.
About me: 30 years old, into podcasts, music, art, meditation, laughing, napping, social justice and community building. Living with multiple chronic illnesses.
Looking for someone:
Queer friendly. Reliable, friendly, calm. Non-Smoker. Must be able to pass background check.
Ability to be scent free (no perfume/cologne/essential oils/strong deodorant/cigarette smoke/ pet dander).
Car not required, but is a perk if candidate has own transportation for occasional errands.
Shifts Needed, 7 days a week:
Morning: 9:00 am- 2:00 pm, $15/hr
Afternoon: 4:00 pm-6:00 pm, $15/hr
Overnight: 7:45 pm- 8:00 am, $75 per shift. (Minimal needs during this time, caregiver has the ability to rest overnight in a private room, as long as able to be easily roused if needed)
Job description (dependent on shift time):
Ability to be scent free (no perfume/cologne/essential oils/strong deodorant/cigarette smoke). Clean/Allergen free scrubs provided on site. Folks with pets in the home will be asked to take the additional step to shower on site and change into provided scrubs prior to any contact with me.
Prepping breakfast, lunch, dinner, with partial to full assist with eating meals. Providing medications. Comfort with using or being trained to use an Epi-pen if needed. Light cleaning and odd jobs as needed.
Total assistance with showering, personal care, dressing, some passive stretching. No experience with personal care needed, willing to teach the right person.
Staying overnight for a supportive presence in the home and to assist as needed.
Maintaining a calm and peaceful demeanor, able to work quietly with minimal conversation.
