We are in need of a home care nurse for our amazing, sweet, medically fragile 11 year old child. The required hours are 2pm until midnight 1-2 times a week, some weekends (so Mom can go to her RN job 3-11).
This is a rewarding job working with one loving patient. He is ventillator and O2 dependent with a trach and g-tube. The ideal candidate is a non-smoking RN with a somewhat flexible schedule, who possesses a passion for caring for kids and is attuned to the needs of medically fragile children.
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of home ventilators, apnea monitors, oxygen, trachs and trach care, suctioning, G-tube feedings.
WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE who lacks specific experience.
This is through the VT Hi Tech Family Managed nursing iniative. The applicant becomes a Medicaid participating provider and is paid as an independent contractor. Only RNs are eligible for this position.
¨VT Nursing License, CPR certification, and insurance required.¨
No disciplinary board action related to nursing license.
Satisfactory criminal records check.
