We are in need of an assistant manager for our small but growing metal shop.
The responsibilities of this job would include, but are not limited to:
Communicate with clients and prospective clients
Compile bids and estimates
Manage and order materials and inventory
Invoice and sales transactions
Oversee shop schedule and prioritizing projects
Equipment and building maintenance
Overseeing quality control
Candidates must:
Strong computer and communication skills
Have acute attention to detail
Be deadline driven and able to work overtime when needed
Work well in team environment
Be able to give and follow direction
Have a valid driversâ license and be willing to travel to job sites on occasion
Have a commitment to maintenance of a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
This is an immediate full-time hire and hourly rate is based on experience.
Our company fabricates, bends and manufactures all sorts of metal roofing and building products such as drip edge, ridge cap, valley pans, flashing, chimney caps, railings, stairs, sinks, counters, racks, etc.
