Duck Caretakers Wanted at Organic-Farm Sanctuary
We have several duck care positions available on our 1300-acre mountain, wildlife-assisted permaculture farm including paid internships, and residential internships. Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
Most immediately: 4 months of 27 hours/week with on-site private housing (inclusive of heat, electric, wifi). We also are hiring 1 or 2 days per week. We offer part-time employment for 3-4 days per week, and ask for at least a 4-month commitment due to the training involved. Much of the work will occur inside our large insulated barn, with outdoor work involved in maintaining ducks in the permaculture orchards.
Qualifications include compassion for animals and great attention to detail. The job is physical, and applicants must be able to lift 50#s. All kitchens on the farm are vegan, and we ask that no animal products be used while on the farm.
