Advanced Cleaning Concepts is seeking a Janitor for evening shifts (2:30 - 11:30) at schools in Randolph, Braintree, and Brookfield, VT. This position will work with a team to provide students with a safe, clean and place to learn, play and grow. Previous school or hospital cleaning experience is preferred, but any cleaning experience will be considered. We are looking for people who fit the company ethos of professionalism, efficiency, and excellence.
Qualifications
Physically fit enough to perform maintenance and moving tasks
Knowledge of accepted cleaning practices
Ability to get along with others
Ability to take orders
Ability to made good decisions without supervision
Availability between 2:30 and 11:30 PM.
Valid drivers license
Reliable Transportation
Able to bend stoop and kneel frequently
Able to lift 50 lbs
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
Able to climb ladders frequently
18 years old or older
Responsibilities
Maintain building by performing the following tasks and others as assigned by the supervisor
Sweep classrooms and dust furniture
Empty and clean wastebaskets
Clean corridors
Scrub and disinfect bathrooms, sanitary fixtures, and drinking fountains
Shovel and sand walks and steps when required
Make minor repairs to buildings and equipment
Report needed major repairs promptly to Supervisor
Pay Rate
$16/hr
